Awesome pictures!

"got any guesses?"

Not for the first 4. The ones after that growing in the sphagnum moss are in all likelihood Galerina paludosa.

Not likely Inonotus obliquus (Chaga), it only attacks living trees that are wounded, it does eventually kill the tree however.
That tree looks like its been dead for some time.

Right below that is raspberry slime,  Tubifera ferruginosa.

Nice subbs!

if its not chaga what could it be?

these pictures came out really shitty but the first one is off of a live tree. The second and third are dead, will they not grow any more if the tree is dead? Are these chaga?

ok, thats chaga.

The Chaga will continue to grow once its established, even after the tree dies.

anyone tried chaga? its rock hard, im thinking about putting some in a coffee grinder and then tea bag it with reishi as well. If i take off a piece of chaga will it stay alive? still grow? or should i just harvest a whole one?
