OVOIDS "r" US! TONS of pictures...

so heres todays find! also in the past three days iv found over about seventy five of these guys! total find so far this season (although i started very late) is about three ounces dry... its so magical how these guys can just sprout up after one day/night! i keep checking my patches with amazing results

thanks danny g... hope you dont mind that i called you that! anyway man i keep checking it every day or two days with results to no end man... these things grow QUICK! its like having a HUGE garden down the street form me... they just keep popping up outa nowhere (those good ole wood chips!)

Yeah I thought they'd be done by the first week of June. Looks like they'll be here til the second week.

im even willing to bet that they will fruit till the end of this month man... thats how its lookin here? where are you located, can temperature play a key factor or variable in the time it stops fruiting.. i think so!

so your definitely a tiny bit south of me... do you think our climates really differ enough to have somewhat even slightly different fruiting seasons?

Hard to say. I guess anything can happen as far as weather is concerned. It's June 6th and they're still pinning so I'd say our territories are still pretty much running neck and neck.

I always find ovoids in the fall,in very small numbers.Unless this is some new species,but i doubt it.Some ovoids i found last fall were very strange looking...

hmmm those are unlike any iv ever seen... and iv seen the spectrum of there appearance... let me tell you! yea im totally going to try and find some... about that squamosa... what state do you live in?

I think you have something totally different. They're not ovoids or squamosa in my opinion. Very cool man.
Save some of those specimans next time and have them checked out.

Agreed,theres been quite alot of ovoid finds on the east coast this season,a great year for them.
