Was also wondering if these are actually subs, and I find more like it, are there any issues with eating ones that are obviously so dried out / been there for a while?

The colours aren't right. Too much orange. Specially in the stem.

I'll see if I can get a photo of some dried subs so that you can have a comparison.

Edit: sorry I don't have any photos of dried subs close at hand. There's probably a pic somewhere on this board you could look for a reference.
