Finally I'm going to give it another try, knowing LSA can be amazing!
-10g of MG seeds
-enough naphta to fill
a small jar
-high proof alcohol
-peppermint oil
-some sort of cloth/filter (coffee filter for example)
* 10g of homegrown morning glory seeds are being powdered in an electric coffee grinder.
* the powder will be soaked in plenty of naphta overnight in the fridge (or would it be better not to put in in the fridge?)
* tomorrow the seed mush will be dried and when completely dry an 80% (160 proof) rum will be added.
* It wil stay overnight in the fridge to be filtered (trough a coffee filter) and consumed the next day:D
* A few drops of peppermint oil will be added a few houres before consuming the extract (or should I add the peppermint oil at the same time as the rum?)
* consuming the extract
* report of effects will be added here
no pics, cuz I think you all know what a coffeegrinder and MG seeds look like

so what would the dosage be of the extracted lsa . and wouldnt you feel the effects of the alcohol in the rum. thanks. sorry if its a bunch of dumb questions.

Yes, when you drink it, you could get drunk or a light alcohol buzz (depending on your size, body, etc..) But I've done it this way before and it's a great experience IMO

I used 10g of seeds as a dosage measure (check erowid.org) so I just drink all the rum. I try to keep it to just 1 shot so the alcohol effects aren't that big. maybe I'll let some of the rum evaporate if it's too much to drink without getting drunk.
That it would convert to LSh is a myth I think. as far as I've read there's no proof of yet. People report more interesting effects when using this method though! but it isn't sure why that happens.

By now, the naphta has tuned slightly yellow, like pee whan you had a lot of water to drink
I'll filter in the next few houres and let it dry before adding alcohol.

when the seed powder was completely dry I put it in a jar and added a shot of 80% (160 proof) rum. Now it's sitting in the fridge, waiting for tomorrow:D

that was a theory, but it looks like there's more proof against it than to support it. People report better effects when using the peppermint oil, but it's incertain why the effects are better. My motivation was: just a few drops of tasty peppermint and effects could be better.. that's worth a try!
about to filter, add peppermint oil and drink within a few houres
*filtered and ready to drink! very clear yellowish liquid, like a good whiskey.
interesting because the rum was more brown colored.
Don't overdo the peppermint oil, it's FUCKING STRONG tasting. I had 3 drops in the amount of rum that fits a shotglass. Don't drink orange juice afterwards, it tastes like shit and creates a lot of mucus (sp?)in your mouth. Use cold water as a chaser.

hmm not much is happening since I finished the drink, 3.5 hours ago.
oh well I'm kinda stoned, and not just from the weed I vaporized.
I feel fine, there was no nausia whatsoever, but there is some diarrhea now.
Maybe I should have repeated the alcohol step a few times to get more LSA out of the seeds. Or maybe Ishouldn't heve placed it in the fridge with the alcohol
Hell I rather have little effects and feeling good, than a lot + sickness
Maybe I'll eat myself a tiny amount of shrooms and see how this combines
*1/4 gram of azure aborts powdered and soaked in lemon juice

I just did this a few days ago for the first time. I was reading some old threads while on 2C-I and realized that I had all the ingredients necessary.
Day one: I ground up 72 grams of morning glory seeds which I had from last year. I know potency is diminished by age, but I hope one year won't be such a negative factor. I then poured them into a 20 oz bottle, and covered them with about a cup of naptha. I then shook this for maybe 30 minutes, and let sit for 24 hours.
Day two: I dumped the grounds through a coffee filter and discarded the naptha. I transfered the grounds to a paper plate, where they were left in darkness to dry
Day three: The grounds still smell like naptha, but appear dry. I disturbed the surface and noticed that everything was still a little damp.
Day four: The seeds were completely dry. I put them into a clean 20 oz bottle and covered them with 91% isopropyl alcohol.
Day five-eight: Shook the seed/iso concoction whenever I remembered it.
Day nine: I straied the solution into a pyrex glass dish and discarded the seed pulp. All that was left was a yellowish liquid. So, I put a fan over it, and proceeded to evaporate the iso for 24 hours.
Day ten: All that is left is a yellow layer of residue, no isopropyl alcohol apparent by smell. I scraped everything off with a credit card, and was left with a marble sized ball of yellow-brownish gunk. I mixed this with corn starch until it was no longer sticky, and divided it into four doses (to account for loss by light, oxidation, and age.) I put these four doses into gelcaps.
I planned on trying it last night, but I am still scared off the nausea I have gotten from MG seeds. I know this is foolish, but I'm still wary. I may try it tonight... I want to do it before long, because Ergine is so unstable.
I know I kind of threadjacked, but I'll let you guys know how it went. I still have my doubts about ergine extractions working, so I suppose I'll have to settle this once and for all tonight.
