    #10347956 - 05/16/09 09:52 AM (14 years, 10 months ago)

hi I'm interested in hallucinogenic cacti i have a few questions
i am interested in purchasing cuttings so that i can grow a few of my own would you recommend getting dried cacti for my friend who would like to ingest the cacti for its properties secondly out of pedro torch or bridgesii which ones do you think would be most satisfying for my friend personally i suggested to my friend to try a live cutting of about 1 foot chopping blending with equal amount of water n light boil with lemon juice for 25 minutes strain repeat a few times and then combine all liquids I'm open to hear any response

Bridgesii is the most consistent for consumption. It would only take about 12" whereas pedro could take from 18-24".

Skins are good. Buying them outside of the US is normally WAY cheaper, but if customs scares you, go local.

I hate the tea. Doing mescaline citrate extractions is simple. Gel cap it and thats it. No throwing up in the mouth. Yuk.

I'm a bit of a security freak, I wont order outside the us for skins.  Not when you can get 10 lbs for a steal every once inawhile on ebay  (once you know what you're looking for)

My real advice is just plan start up a strong cactus farm (3-6 plants) and you eventually get to part with one.  ...The reality of it though, is you'll have 13-16 plants.

It tastes bad.

It's safer than getting dried skins(legally), but a bit more work. I wouldn't recommend it if you can get already dried, but it has worked for me. Just find a guide on here or google and you're set.

The only surefire way to experience this plant is to grow it yourself, and harvest it at it's prime.

Grow the plant, and all will become clear.  :egyptian:
