Disc Golf Mystery Mushroom

Hey guys, I found this while traversing a disc golf course on an inclined, grassy hill in North Louisiana. I'm sure it's not active, but I picked it because, at the time, I thought that ring on the stem was an encouraging sign that it might be. Anyways, the cap is potato-colored with white gills and it is smooth like a callused baby's bottom. The stem is white and it bruises brown. Here are some picx of the mushroom and the sick hole 18 that I have lost two discs on in the past month.

yea ive seen a shitload of these around my house..theyre nothing, i think there poisonous.. dont know the name though...
