ok so i inoculated my rye a little longer than a week ago now and i had no mycelium growth i only just today saw a pin point of growth on the bottom so ive been really thinking about it and i think it may be because i tightened the lids all the way they have the metal lid in with four small nail holes and tyvek over that so my question is should i loosen them up a little bit so they can breath

It could be the amount of oxygen, but most likely not. In my own experience lack of oxygen during this time will show, after you have a good amount of mycelium, which will then slow to near halt. Sometimes It just takes a while for it to get going. Could be genetic, Could be moisture content of your rye. Or it could be old spores.
I'd say loosen the lids just a bit, and wait it out. IHMO, If ALL of your jars are going that slow, I would suspect moisture content of the rye, if you know thats fine, then i'd suspect the syringe was old.
Either way gl.
PS--Taking 2-3weeks is definitely not unheard of before seeing growth. So also be patient.

DO NOT LOOSEN YOUR LIDS!
the 4 holes and tyvek is plenty for GAS EXCHANGE, which is all you need. Its not uncommen to not see any sings of growth until about a week.
Allow more exchange than is needed and you risk drying your grains out, and invitro pinning before full colinisation.
Just wait it out. Not sure why you have growth on the bottom though, did you shake your jars after inoculation? You should wait until 20-30% colinisation before shaking.

Most of my rye collanates pretty fast, i like to soak for 24 hours and then pc, my last jars were all fast but two of them only shown a few signs of mycelium for a while i think there wasn't enough spores in my last syringe? just be paciant

word well the jars have some condensation on the inside i thought it was because the rye absorbed water when i boiled it which i thought was OK and i wrapped the box in a electric blanket to warm em up a little bit but is there a way to dry it out or will it tough it out and grow anyway? i will also loosen one to see if it helps and I'm using Hawaiian strain and got the syringe from the spore store i also used it the day i got it

Some moisture is normal after pressure cooking but it should be absorbed after a few days.
pooling of water means your grain is too wet.
dont try and heat your jars, it wont help. Keep them at room temp (75F)
After you boil, dump them into a strainer while still hot (straight after teh boil) let all the excess water drain off and toss to allow steam to rise of, keep tossing evry so often. This allows all the moisture to evaporate of the surface of your grain. Leaving the moisture inside where you need it.
Wet grains will slow colinisation and can lead to bacterial contamination.
