Salvia plants! (HW and blosser)

So I received two rooted salvia plants today from a member on here. The two strains are Hoffman/Wasson and Blosser.
They both arrived in good condition, though the HW had twisted itself, due to lack of light. And there was a little bit of black on the leaves due to lack of airflow.
Don't worry, they are now both in 2L bottles, and are under a CFL.
The Blosser:
The HW:
Is it okay if the leaves are touching the sides? They stick to the sides especially after spraying.
Also I received some fresh Kratom seeds. It's been 70%+ humidity in Dallas, and the temperature have been in the mid 80s, so I was thinking of just barely burying the seeds in some miracle gro "organic choice" potting soil, and watering, and seeing how nature takes care of them. I know a lot of trouble comes from aged seeds, but is it hard to start fresh seeds outside? I don't really want to start them inside too much, because I'm worried about stressing them when I bring them outside.
Thanks goes out to Drift!

Yeah. I'm really excited and happy to finally have some plants.
I'm gonna mix some potting soil together and start my kratom seeds tomorrow.

Did the HW get turgor pressure back yet? She's wilting hard :<

It actually has turgor pressure. It just didn't know which way to point because it had no light source, so it twisted in an odd way. It still has lots of stiffness and pressure in the stem though. I'm leaving the CFL on all night to stimulate it into standing back up.

Nice salvia plants! I ordered one a few days ago, so I'll hopefully receive it soon.

I wouldn't worry about the dark edges too much. Its always been the case when I've gotten sally. Nice plants!

Well the HW is starting to slowly pull itself back up. The CFL helped a little, but the morning sun did most of the work.
The HW:
The Blosser:
My window sill:
They get an hour or two of morning light. And then they get good indirect light for pretty much the rest of the day.
How often should I be watering them? They're quite humid, and they were transplanted and watered well with some water/h202 yesterday. I was thinking to water them once a day for the first few days, and then begin to space it out to every other day.
Also do Kratom seedlings transplant well? Can I start them in some small containers, or should I start them in their intended pot?

you should take the lids of the bottles or put some small holes in the sides for fresh air,I'm no expert but surely they must need fresh air. just a thought. I've read that the roots can rot if the soil is kept to wet, once that happens the rot sets in to the whole plant. i just keep an eye on mine and water when needed, always making sure never to give it to much and its fine.
i also mix my soil, vermiculite and perlite together so that the top contains most of the soil and the verm gets thicker the further down it goes, and a handful of perlite mixed thru the whole thing, and a layer of clay pebbles at the very bottom. this seems to be doing the job with mine anyway, they would probably do just fine in straight potting soil alone as long as they are treated well.

I cut some holes into the sides, and put a hole in the bottle cap, so they should have decent airflow now.

If they are well rooted, start acclimating them.

They have a small root system. They both have two main roots about an inch long or so. I'm thinking of at least giving them a week before acclimating.

I sent them to him with a decent root system, but you can tell from the pics they're shipping shocked pretty hard. It'd be best to let them recover before acclimating imo, the humidity helps during that phase.

They've been growing steadily. I'd imagine they are fairly rooted, I'm gonna start acclimating them tonight.
The Blosser put out a big aerial root. At first I wasn't sure what it was and was worried, but Drift informed me of what it was.
The HW is starting to put one out also now.

Those look like they're going to do just peachy. The fact that you can see an aerial root is pretty comforting.

So I transplanted them into new pots today. The blossers roots were growing along of the edges of its pot so I'm hoping it appreciates the extra space.
Because of the small size of the last pots they were in, the leaves were conditioned to hanging low over the edge of the pots. So when I transplanted them, the large lower leaves were bending awkwardly ontop of the soil, so I just went ahead and picked them. So this is my first "harvest":
Some of the new growth is showing some browning on the leaves. Here's a picture from the blosser:
And you can see some also on the HW:
Could this be due to lack of nutes, excessive humidity/watering, poor pH levels, or lack of airflow?
I've been slowly putting more and more holes into the humidity tents to help acclimate them, so the airflow should be increasing.
I got a pH tester and it says the soil is pretty much a pH of 7. I wasn't sure if it was just stuck on 7 so I put it in vinegar and it shot to about 3, so I guess it works.
The soil they were in before was some "organic choice" Miracle Grow potting soil. The soil they are currently in is roughly about 60% compost from my pile, 5% old horse manure, and 35% organic choice miracel gro soil.
I also just gave them both a small dose of 31-11-11 fertilizer.
Overall though, they seem to be handle a little stress and bounce right back.

So the Blosser is officially done acclimating.
The Hoffman/Wasson is taking a little bit longer. I think the Blosser has a larger root system.
