Meddle...They were on the verge of perfection but they weren't quite there yet.
Although, Echoes is perfection.

Nothing comes close to Dark Side of the Moon in my opinion, I have some weird kind of connection to it. One of those things that "makes me feel at home" when I listen to it. Especially the songs Time and Us and Them.
I love Floyd, 3rd favorite band, behind Zep and the Beatles
The best thing about them is how unique and psychedelic they really are, nothing comes close.
All their music gives off this really crazy vibe, like I said earlier, makes me feel at home. Really warm feeling listening to Pink Floyd. I can't explain it.
After DSotM I'd say Wish You Were Here is 2nd best, followed my Piper at the Gates of Dawn.
The sheer amount of material they have out is wonderful though, some of the earlier shit is absolutely mind blowing.

My stepbrother bought me The Division Bell and I got stuck on that for a bit.
Otherwise Dark Side is classic.

One of my goals is to shroom on a beach in the middle of night while listening to Echoes and staring at the open ocean in solitude, hopefully I can make that happen relatively soon.

while peaking on Acid FTMFW... intense
They are one of the very few band who have always been consistently good while still evolving their sound. Dark Side and The Wall (live) are definitely up there too, really far up there. Animals, Meddle, and Piper at the Gates of Dawn are also all very solid.

something about the Wall just annoys the hell out of me,
although I wish I could see PF live, that's gotta be something.
I always wondered what it would be like to be on a unholy amount of lsd at one of their night club shows in the late 60's with Syd, Interstellar Overdrive being smashed into your skull, seems like good times.

i hadn't really listened to it until a year ago. my dad and i were driving down to kentucky to pick up some cabinets from a factory and i had some shpongle playing, and he said it reminded him a lot of the pink floyd song "several species of small furry animals gathered together in a cave and grooming with a pict"
i just kind of looked at him like, "what are you smoking? lol"
then he put it on and it was actually pretty good.
