Traveling to Amsterdam is on a very important "to-do list" before my body finds itself six-feet underground. Now my question is, what kind of price tag are we talking if its a week and a half long expedition in a low-priced motel? $2-3 thousand?? I'm sure airfare is a lil under a grand, then a week and a half in the motel i could probly manage for around 60 a night. Really all the money left over from airfare and a hotel is where the fun is.
Don't know whose been, or who is a lil more than average when it comes to amsterdam tips, but I'd like to hear the best places to stay, the amount of $$ it's going to average around, etc etc
Any guys or gals that have voyaed to this great country, please inform me on some of the necessities and tidbits of factual intrigues! !

the best places to stay are going to cost way more then 60$ per night. i dont understand your questions, what exactly do you want to know? Amsterdam isn't really that great the only reason people go is to smoke weed but you can do that anywhere. go to the bahamas

You can camp 20 minutes away from from amsterdam for around 6euro's a night. The campsites have got all the facilities you need.
I'll be in the dam in 3 weeks. I'm looking for work so if any ones got any advice on that its much appreciated. If I get a job then I won't be coming back thats for sure!

When I went in 2003 I stayed at The Flying Pig youth hostel for 20 Euros a night. It was an awesome experience and I'd highly recommend it if you're traveling with a group. The Pig has a great vibe and is right next to several coffee shops. The only drawback is that you share a large room with other guests. This wasn't a problem when I went with friends but might be a concern if you're traveling solo.
