Pinning from the middle of the sub

I got a monotub that is pinning the mycelium was a little on the fluffier side rather than rhizoie.

anyways The pins are forming in the middle rather than the top There's 3 or 4 mushrooms where you can only see a cap at the top of the sub.

It's actually pretty crazy looking

Apparently this indicates that it was warmer in the middle rather than at the top correct?

Its a MS grow so that's probably the issue

But I just wanted to make sure

Pic isn't the greatest as you can

Metabolite city on this guy Genetics just seem very weak on this one

Middle = side of tub?

The mushrooms form wherever conditions are best. Maybe temperature, maybe humidity, whatever. At any rate, it's all good.

Not the side i"m Talking literally in the middle of the bulk substrate. The pins have started and the top of the shroom(the cap) is what you see at the top of the sub which is where you would usually see pins forming.

i think they are just really short shrooms. probably too dry. small shrooms=usually substrate is dry(RR said it; i dont know shit)

Oh! Like the OP thinks they are growing out of the inside of the sub, and are just breaking the surface? Agreed, small shrooms, probably a moisture issue.
