UCSB is in SoCal...
So wouldn't that mean SoCal is more badass than NorCal?

UCSB probably has the sexiest college girls in the state besides UCLA, USC, or Cal.

i think about 95% of people living in CA are douche bags, both north and south. only people in CA think that they are better then other people just based purely on geographical location. i.e. "west caost is soo much better then east coast." its just funny how you people think. so go shove your gucci shoes up each others over-materialistic asses HELLA GAY FAGGOTS YO wess wess yall

Wow, you're funny.* People from California are proud they live in California solely because it literally is one of the best areas to live in in not only the nation, but the world.
1) It's "than", not "then". 2) Only NorCal people say "hella"; your feeble attempt at generalization shows your true understanding of Californians; thus, allowing you to fully, and capably, judge them.* 3) You try and correlate "gucci shoes" and "over-materialistic piece of shit" to living in California, yet you fail to realize that California has one of the widest spectrums of socio-economic classes in the nation; ranging from 'illegal immigrant' to 'software company CEO'. This just proves your true ignorance at its core. Trying to present stereotypes in a seemingly intelligent manner really shows how knowledgeable you are.*

Is it so obvious?
Your lack of empirical, or even remotely logical, evidence only makes you seem the more ignorant. You have no stable foundation of evidence to base your opinions off of, nor do you hold even the slightest understanding of California and its residents at all.
You don't know .

It is. I base my opinion off of the following evidence:
1) LA would have a large enough economy to rank in the top 20 highest national economies in the world, in terms of nominal GDP; if it were a country. 2) LA is the largest manufacturing center in the western United States. 3) California is home to an innumerable amount of Fortune500 companies. 4) California's educational system can rival that of the Ivy League; the Claremont Colleges of Claremont, CA are nicknamed "the Ivy League of the West"; California's University of California system is world-renown and ranks amongst the Top 100 universities in America. 5) California was rated to have the some of the most beautiful women in the nation. 6) CA has beaches. 7) CA has dank weed. 8) CA influences a lot of the nation and world, in terms of fashion (from Hollister to DC Shoes), media (Hollywood), extreme sports (skateboarding), etc. 9) In both 2008 and 2007, Californian cities made it to the Top 5 cities to live in, based on CNN Money. And in 2007, California had the most cities to rank amongst the top 100. 10) California's geographical diversity is more than prevalent; where else can you snowboard, surf, and skate in one day?

The only area I like of NorCal is SF, Berkeley, Oakland. I think San Jose is pretty boring, Palo Alto and Stanford are horrible, Santa Clara is a bit better but still nothing much to do. I could see living in SF for a period of my life, but beyond that its basically just farm/hick country. LA is a cool city, I like the area around Echo Park a lot among other areas. I just wish we had a decent subway system, definitely not a drunk friendly city as driving takes forever.

things i didn't like about my recent trip to Sac.
say hella waay to much.
say hard waay to much.
when someone reffered to smoking weed they'd say "let's put this shit in the air"
everyone always tried to one up me.
everyone acted like Sac was the most badass city on the map.
but, i did have alot of fun and met a lot of laxed people in san fran and concord. Oh and some damn good food in san fran!
Glad to be back in Minneapolis. Sorry couldn't live there.

Damn whata cali kid bang your old lady?
Things suck here, and somethings kickass. Just like most anywhere else. It sure the fuck beats alaska. Personally a few hours north of San Fran is the best. North Cal & South Cal divide around Monterrey. Oh and all of the Central Valleys(Sac) is a shithole.
