pin(s) before full colonization w/ pic. should i case now?

Spawned brf cakes to coir/coffee sub a week ago, covered it with foil, and put it in the incubator at 77F. i waited 4 days to check it, and it was incredibly moist (puddles of water collecting) so i've been letting it air out once or twice a day... just recently noticed this pin.

if i case it, will the mycelium continue to colonize, or has it already moved on to the fruiting stage?

The pin seen in the pic you posted suggests that the fruiting stage is already upon you, so I doubt it will continue to colonize. You could case it now, but I guess personally I would just it fruit this flush, then case after you dunk it for the second flush.

Though looking at it again, it does not look but maybe 50% colonized - did you have the substrate in fruiting conditions while it was colonizing?

no, it was in colonization temps. like i said, the humidity was high, and it became very moist. maybe the FAE from me airing it out every day led to the formation of the pin.
