Hi everyone, long time no post!
I was wondering if anyone in the metro tri state area has started morel hunting yet...NJ, NY, CT, or even PA...I went for a quick foray yesterday with no luck.
Im assuming there wont be anything till late april at best, right?

I would like to know this too. I'm @ MA

Some online site said black morels are supposed to be april-may, and yellows are april-june

But, I haven't gone out yet

Really?!

Still seems a bit early for them here on the other end of Michigan (NE Ohio).

Maybe I will go take a look in my usual spots tomorrow but the last 2 times I was out I found nothing.
