Don't know if this has been asked before, but what is the most actives you ever found on one hunt? Just curious as to what's possible when the conditions are ideal

you can answer in grams or "a garbage bag FULL" or whatever

In Florida you can find pounds easily... Just takes the right cow or horse pasture and you're good to go forever lol

my finds of c. smithhi, the only active around that i can find here, well i rack in about 1.5 GRAMS!!!! in a day of picking. boomb

yeah east texas/sw louisiana = legendary fields.

i hauled in about 3 zips dry from one hunt and thats the most ever. and we did NOT pick every shroom in the field and left a ton out there. we usually go for the less mature, less dry ones(aka more potent). the older bigger ones usually get snagged in a photo.

Mitchnast found several garbage bags full of Gymnopilus one year.

They're not common but I've picked many 5 pound clusters of BLG. That's like enough for two people to reach level 2.
