Need opinion..Old Liquid tek or DYI spore syringe?

I have a jar of month old honey liquid , which has not been refrigerated, just kept in the dark 65 - 80 degrees, shaken daily or so, added h2o2 twice (after a week) and then two weeks later (2cc each). I see nothing but a fluffy wad like a cotton ball in the water, no spots.
I also have a faint spore print in a mason jar which I could , maybe get a good syringe out of.
So what should I do? Is a month too long for the liquid? (MAKING CAKES)
Maybe I should try both and post the results? Any advice would be appreciated...
