So the cool mist provides both fresh air and humidity?

I built one similar. Differences: Humidifier is ultra sonic fogger inside a bucket. The bucket is pressurized with Electrostatic airlifter. Putting the fogger on a timer, I maintain humidity easily, while ensuring fresh air flow. For temp control, rheostat heating pads. love em. Thanks for the pictorial!

he mentioned in the write-up, that there were a few different bottoms that might come with the unit. the one he has pictured has no bottom, so he used scrap plastic sheeting to fabricate one.  he points out  that there is a fabric bottomed marta that is available.  CO2 being heavier than fresh air, it would assumedly seep thru any available crevice at the bottom of the chamber.
the fresh air exchange would then be controlled by the introduction of fresh humidified air pushed into the martha.
--simply beautiful!
thank you so much for a well laid out break down of the martha closet ! i imagine you could easily scale this principle up by using visqueen and ....and.....and...OOOO time to go to the hardware store!

Just to point out.  Cyber looks like he's using an impeller type humidifier.  He only specifies "cool mist" which refers to any number of humidifier types.

Ok this is genius so far but i have one question. Maybe I'm reading this wrong but where does the air come out. You have humide air going in but there would have to be an exit point right?

The humidifier is on the outside, it is an almost constant air exchange.

Whats controling the air exchange?
