Just wondering: Since spores are legal to send to most states, and it takes a while for them to form mycelia, why couldn't very recently spore-inoculated agar be mailed, so  I can wait for mycelia  growth, then add it to prepared wbs?

Hi this is awesome.  King supers didn%u2019t have agar I had to go to oriental store. What an experience.

You say use two table spoons of potato flakes and one TEA spoon of honey yet you show the same size spoon in your pictures.

Should I follow the pictures or the text measurements?

It is very cool to be able to ask questions. Is RR DVD the one with the two guys in the kitchen? If so it's been turned into a download ordeal for me. Some sort of incompatibility between my mac OS  10.11.8. The trouble is on my end. My mac is nearing the end of it's internet utility. I'm waiting for a smart phone to arrive soon. That should help things along.

Thanks very much to every one who gives their time so we can all get a little closer to a more compassionate  relationship with the source of these tiny wonders of mind expansion. It's been more than 50 years since I tripped. Gonna be a little while longer. Just lost the wife of my life and need to give it some time. I'll begin with micro dosing when I do. I have focus problems and hope to get a handle on that so I can get back to making music.

Quick questions!

1. Once the mycelium has developed in a jar/petri dish, you sterilize a blank syringe with water inside of it, and then you just suck up the mycelium into the syringe?

2. With the now mycelium-filled syringe, you just inoculate a grain jar or brown rice flour jar like you would with a liquid culture?

i checked cub food, walmart, target and rainbow foods for AGAR. big grocery stores wont have it in the asian section.

YOU MUST go to an asian super market and ask for agar or seaweed extract.

Just wanted to add that I used Doc's WBS tek on my agar lids with success.

Could you use simple potatoe starch?  I found that my asian grocery store carries agar agar that is ground up (has the consistency of corn starch)-not the solid kind that is on this tek.  Is there any way to substitute?

Kudos.  I never would have thought to look in the grocery for agar.
