This looks pretty interesting from a biological perspective but I think that most casual growers would find it far more practicle to simple grow more of them.
Maybe you put something in the substrate that is already high in tryptamine such as mature cheese (ground up and mixed with your vermiculite etc.) and see what happens - but in all honesty, the difference between having to eat 2 or 4 mushrooms is'nt worth the average person buying expensive chemicals esspecially if the government wants to know what you're doing with it :)
It does of course raise the interesting point of where nature ends and 'synth' begins. Growing mushrooms is just growing mushrooms, but you could argue that for all practicle purposes, this tek is actually using mushrooms almost like lab equiptment for manufacturing the drugs. Maybe some day this sort of thing will take on new meaning as plants are used to 'naturally' manufacture all sorts of chemicals in an envirnmentally freindly way.

At a recent meeting of the RGDL, it was overheard that adding 1g Tryptophan (metabolic precursor to Tryptamine, somewhat cheaper to procure as well) per PF jar slowed colonization and subsequent growth so much as to likely negate any benefits of increased potency. Reducing the supplemental Tryptophan might fix the problem to a certain extent.
