Thank you! I love low tech low cost solutions...
If this works as well as I imagine it will, should also work with any good substrate made into flour that has enough "stickiness" to it to from a solid block. I'm thinking of rye flour. Though rice may be best since so much starchier...

Quick search found this clue about rye flour

I can vouch for this tek. I have experienced equal success rate with this formula as i have with conventional agar recipes.
Thank you for a cheap and easy alternative.

If you are wondering what grams are in Teaspoons are any of your measurment needs. Try out this website http://www.ghostcalc.com/cooking-measurement-converter.html

5grams BRF = 1tsp BRF
16CC(mL)     = 2 1/2 tsp water

Grams (weight)  and Teaspoon are a different forms of measurement so there may be a slight difference. But i used these measurements it has turned out perfectly.

Do you happen to know the volume ratio (water:brf)? Because I this moment I dont have gram scales/ ml measuringtool or empty syringe.
Thanks :)

Edit: according to data I've found density of flour is something in range from 500 to 600 kg/m3. That means that one should use about 1.4 part water per 1 part brf.
