Further the HP movement!I have used the mya hydrogen agar plates with great success to clone oyster, shiitake, GT, inky caps, and enoki is next. The mycelium responds slower at start than my traditional potato agar plates. The recovery period is worth the wait because then my 'ten minute spawn' is easy to make, quick to respond and cheap to make. I will admit however, one plate of oyster grew two green patches of you know what. Instead of throwing the plate away, I let them fight it out. Oyster won. I wonder if this could create a strain more resilient to tricoderma.Anyways, I give credit to R. Rush Wayne PhD for this unique system that's furthered my excitement and experimenting.
