90/10? Okay. Dry weight .1 of harvest weight.

The water content of the "mushrooms" depends on the species. Generally cubenses are 91-93%. If you calculate that 35g fresh will become 3.5g dry, you'll be disappointed. Because it's 91-93% water and not a round 90% water, your calculations will be off by 10-30%. That means that a dry dose may require 10-30% more. I have also heard that some of the other, less robust/stable,active chemicals are destroyed in they drying process. If this is true, there may be a slight qualitative difference in the experience.

Other than eating them raw, no, of course there isn't any way of getting past this law of nature. But why does it matter to you so much? If you take 3.5grams dry weight, then take 30-35 grams fresh weight. Although I have found it to be more than 90% water, and I adjust for the fact that fresh are stronger... as the Psilocin hasn't depleted in fresh shrooms like it does when drying. So I like to trip on 4.5g dry weight, or about 35g fresh.
