ive recently realized that the seeds other people have in thier jars are kernal like!?!?! the seeds in my current jar are more seed like, almost like bird seed. its called ryegrass rather than rye grain..or are they the same thing? will my crop be fine????????????

This method is fundamentally flawed. It is transcribed from a textbook and makes a terrible mistake. The textbook would call for heating AT 100 °C for 30 min, it could take well over 1 hour for the centre of the jar to reach 100C. Just steaming for 30mins is certainly not enough. The same textbook would say 15-20mins at 15psi is enough, but people PC for 90mins. So I would recommend adding on a similar 75mins to all these times, if not more.
