This is some pretty outdated info a cube is a cube (excluding the PE variety) they all belong to the same species. Again excluding several lab created varieties but most "strains" are really vendor hype.  These "strains"  or better referred to as varieties actually differ vary little in most cases, some of the "classic cubes" have recessive traits that alter their appearence and what not. Often these varieties are said to have differences in potency and while you can have potent cubes potency can (most likely will) vary from mushroom to mushroom. You can't really guarantee potency, size, or appearence until you isolate some good genetics on agar, but thats for another thread. If anyone reads anything that appears incorrect here please correct me.

Back to the topic though a wise man once told me that saying two cube varieties couldn't mix is like saying  "a black man and a french woman can't have a child." They are the same species and will do fine and if I am correct mixing them can even prove beneficial but dont quote me on that just yet. When dealing with your standard cube focus less on the variety and more on isolating good genetics.
