I know this is a mega old post but I'm new to the Shroomery.. and new to growing.
I believe I made a mistake but I don't know how minor, if at all minor, it is.
My mistake: I started off with BRF and added water.. then verm. I don't know why I just wasn't thinking. I know you mix the verm and water first but I didn't and I'm just wondering if that's going to do any damage? It all got mixed pretty well overall.
In some of the jars there is some BRF that kind of clumped together, but like I said.. overall it's mixed pretty well.
Really I'm just hoping they turn out fine.. I did SO much research, kept everything as clean as possible.. even gave my jars like 16 hours to cool before I injected the spores.
Any responses are greatly appreciated. (:

Why do you list this as "4 tablespoons" of water? That's equivalent to 1/4 cup. This basically just complicates what is otherwise visibly a 1:2:1 ratio.
And why do you want people to make sure the verm is at field capacity
before
adding the BRF, right after you tell them how much water they're adding? The idea is that the total mixture is at field capacity--which it is, when you add the BRF.
And why do you have a different formula in the second paragraph from the first? A 1/2 cup verm to 1/6 cup BRF ratio. What the hell is going on here? These instructions are completely fouled, and I now know why several specific confused posts have been brought to the cult forum over the past few months.
