Replying to the question about fermentation. Fermenting turns the toxic acid into the main trippy substance, so you don%u2019t have to drink the urine of a deer or a shaman who have consumed the mushroom and have suffered the toxic damage from the fresh mushroom.
What the body does to the fresh mushroom during digestion, converting the acid into the trippy compound, fermenting does as well.
So it actually intensifies the effects. Some people believe that the toxic acid is the most psychedelic substance in this mushroom, but I have found no such evidence, quite the contrary. Eating those mushrooms fresh is dangerous and absolutely unnecessary. A friend of a friend ended up in the hospital for 3 days barely survived after eating 3 of those mushrooms fresh he picked from the local forest.

Does the fermentation process affect any of the psychedelic potential of the actual mushroom?

Thank you.
Any drug description that includes the words "For 48 hours"
is not a drug for me.
