With GAD (Generalised Anxiety Disorder) I wouldn't go much higher than 0.2 grams to start with. I suggest to go slow and start low then after several of these low doses slowly work your way upwards. If you are microdosing for anxiety I wouldn't go much above 0.5 grams until you are rock solid in your practice.
The practice I use is to take my mushrooms and then meditate, allow it to flow around my body and enjoy its calming effects. I had enormous expectations of amazing results at first and was disappointed. Now that I have more experience I am very happy to sit back in my recliner and enjoy the space microdosing provides me. As I said before, I'm not after nirvana just that special space of calm which can gestate some interesting personal insights. In the outer world I have started coming to terms with my life and that is worth this slow approach.
I've read that people on SSRI's might not gain the best results from mushrooms. Maybe look into this some more, there is plenty of info on this forum.
May I suggest that you also remember the basics: good clean diet, nutritional supplements if you are into that, exercise like walking an hour a day with a talking book, podcast or music, and a supportive social network. In the meantime don't expect too much initially, find the dose that is comfortable for you and then stick to it.
I have anxiety and depression too and that's partly why I use meditation and mushrooms. It is slow, but at my age down time is something I now have plenty of. Stay safe and go slowly.
