I know this post is old it's still really informative I am trying to figure out what 2 strains made the Mike Tyson experience. I cannot find anything on it other then a picture of someone's 3rd flush. I want to say it's a Cambodia mix but I could be wrong if anyone has anymore information on this it'd be much appreciated. Thanks mushlove

my reaction is shocked of the ignorance of the terms I would use myself and so.. The scenario Is like, me ancestors slanging%u2019 at Forrests versa Some like you and I going up town to score Magicals truffles, funny facts A fine article, reads easy.
to reply on material I din%u2019t master
looks to me to maximal reach 5th generation and abord from that point yes or eyeball a selected few to spore-collect. I just un-knowing say so. Or is the fact more like %u201CY%u2019all don%u2019t take spore from that rank of generation and stuff cuz inbreeding, beware%u201D?
is my comment N00b? certain yes
the hell its my first comment , Thank you sharing , many respects (^o^) for the interesting stuff (heterozygosity FTW)

Is there any way to detect psilocybin levels in each individual mushroom so as to preserve potancy through generations?
Much thanks for the article.... I had never considered actually attempting to grow mushrooms before but after reading this article it's got me ready to give it a shot... vary well explained. I espically liked the general diagram at first to help understand the basic concepts before looking any further. Again thanks.

Just to set the record straight, Aminita is a Genus not a species. Here on the left coast, we have an abundance of amanita species; some delectable, some deadly. Wirh a wide variety of colors, sizes, universal veils, annulii (annulusses?), pilius ornamentation, .....
Just a tiny flaw in a HUGELY BENEFICIAL post. Please keep up the good work.

There is no short answer. You can start here. . . http://www.ralphstersspores.com/USA/index.php
you can read the descriptions and be sure to click the "reviews" buttons to see other opinions on the various strains.
