It has been 2 weeks since I inoculated my substrate with psilocybin spores using the PFTek method and I do not see any mycelium growth. I fear I did not add enough water to the vermiculite/grain rice mixture before I sterilized the substrate%u2014is there anything I can do to recover the batch?

Once the jars are inoculated, I have always stored them in darkness through this process until 100% colonization. I recently read however that its beneficial to expose the colonizing jars to indirect daylight or low wattage light source. And that by doing this one could speed up the colonizing process. Does exposing the colonizing jars to light in fact have a positive effect on the speed at which the jars will colonize?
