Yea what the hell were u thinking taking mushrooms the day of a close friends funeral? and then on top of that someone that you didnt know well? it was bad enough you were taking azures w/o knowing it. this was truly a recipe for disaster as you found out. Sorry you had a bad time, but the only thing that a person who has never eaten mushrooms before should take from this unfortunate tale is:
A) Do not eat mushrooms on the day of a funeral
2) Do not eat mushrooms w/ someone that you don't know

Set and setting
, not a good time to trip. Also not good to be doing that kind of thing in your mother's house, all sounds very hectic and poorly planned. Sounds like you should perhaps have taken your own advice and been a lot more responsible.
I am not trying to be an asshole, but educating yourself about what you are taking, and how much is a reasonable dose is so important. If you can't tell the difference between cubensis and azures then I am forced to conclude that you didn't do your homework. To add to that, you gave unidentified mushrooms to someone that hadn't tripped before, and is the type of person that carries a blade around with them, while being at a level of maturity that he would hide from cars, whether it is the police or not, best way to get searched/arrested is probably ducking into the bushes when you see a cop car approaching.
Believe it or not, I do have sympathy for your situation, it sounds rough, and like you learned your lesson. I am not sure what I think about kids doing heavy duty psychedelics, by that I mean I am not certain what would be considered old enough to start experimenting, unless you live in a culture that utilises such things from a very early age, and would be surrounded by people who know exactly what they are doing, and not putting themselves or others in potentially dangerous or even lethal situations.
Mushrooms are by their very nature unpredictable, but there are definitely measures you can take to ensure that things go as smoothly as possible, tripping on a massive dose of a very potent species around the time of a horrific tragedy is not a good move, you can't blame the mushrooms for erractic decision making, although to be fair I am not certain you are blaming them exactly.
I have taken 10 year breaks from shrooms etc in the past, you may find you wish to approach them again down the line, hopefully within a more serene set of circumstances and with a lot more planning.
Genuinely hope that your mental state is ok though, I know you're going to think I'm being a dick, I just don't want other people who haven't tripped to assume that mushrooms are a complete horror story, they can be sublime, they can kick your ass, it's down to you to make sure that every possible factor is stacked in your favour, as far as that is possible.
Respect is paramount, they are not a toy, or even a recreational thing in my opinion. Take them with purpose, with faith, and with as much knowledge as you can cram into your mind.
All the best for the future though.
