I'm quite sure you have experienced sleep paralysis, you should read about it here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis. I used to experience sleep paralysis when I was younger, for me it was terrifying. It usually happened when I was waking up in the morning and tried to go back to sleep, sometimes instead of going back to sleep I would slip straight into sleep paralysis, experiencing hallucinations and sensations of being touched by hands and moved. I've read that it's possible to have an out-of-body experience in this state, and that some people have actually "Astral projected" themselves on purpose by controlling it, crazy shit.

U should consider yourself blessed man :) I have through the years experienced out of body experiences, which I for a long time mistook for fear or something. It seems that a persons model of what happens is gonna shape the experience. What I mean is that it wasnt until I read about sleep paralysis as a first sign of astral traveling that I actually managed to relax enough to allow it to happen. I have not done any more than just gotten partially out of my body. I also can feel the same rolling backwards sometimes. Just roll with it :)
So I would encourage you to think about it with positive thoughts and just allow it to happen when it happens, or u can meditate etc to make it happen more regularly.

Good luck with DMT :)

Well, it is very possible you had an out-of-body experience. I had one when I was about 10 or 11 years old without drugs and it wasn't like yours, but that doesn't mean you didn't have one. You can actually induce an out-of-body experience just through meditation, but this requires practice, or a strong will.  The power of the human psyche knows no bounds!
