Thats a tough question because it's been so long since it happened.  I've used and abused many drugs many times, so I can't really tell you if it's impacted my life long term or not.  Short term it turned me off from using ketamine, and made me appreciate the people in my life more.  Even then I already value loved ones a great deal, and have a big heart and lots of empathy for others.  There are a few other "incidents" that have stuck with me more, like a time when a friend and I combined codeine, demerol, weed, and drank a little.  We sat in the upper level of a friends house in the dark just talking about anything and everything.  We talked for a long time to keep eachother awake, because at some point we were both having a little trouble breathing, had a dull pain in our chest, and were getting very very sleepy.  That sticks out in my mind more than this because I think it's the closest I've come to having something really terrible happen to me from combining drugs.  We use to mix stuff a lot, crazy medicine cabnit self-experimentation.  We once walked around for half a day asleep on our feet after taking 3 "little blue z's", anti-depressants, t3's, and smoked a joint!  No recollection the next day, met eachother at school amazed that the same thing happened.  Somehow my friend came home with a bag of chips and a couple packs of smokes without having money on him!  Sleepwalking around town together mid-day, walking in the streets, getting kicked out of places (many others told us some of what we did the next day).

Very interesting. How would you say the experience has impacted you?
