I've been looking around for a Tek that I came across on a Youtuve video....http://youtu.be/NlloMRatwms

Has anyone ever left a BRF to float in water before???

Siscokid went ahead and left one BRF cake in a 1/2 pint jar filled  90%~ with spring water... Will keep posting on this until it's finished.

hey guys ive been playing around for a while with a way of pasteurizing  . i always hated the long cooking process when  trying to cook many jars and i did not want to invest in a huge 40 qt pc  so i bought a electric roaster from wally world and a light timer at a total cost of about 40 bucks  the roaster hold 16 qt jars with no troubles i put 3 in of water in it along with my jars  put the lid on set the temp at 250 and set the timer for a on time of 2 hr to let the water bath reach the correct temp for the first hour  and the second hours dose all the work not to mention you dont need to babysit the dam cooker  so far it has worked on a few batches no troubles simply plug in  forget it  so let me know what you think  but 40 bucks to cook 16 qt s at a time made scense to me
