I'm going to try this side by side with a casing being added at the start and then late case my other tub and see what yields more on each flush.

Love the flush! Some claim its the fresh air that triggers the pinning. and may only need a few milliseconds of light. Only reason i use a casing layer is to protect me from contaminations. if you wait to the point that its pinning and knotting then adding the casing layer to me sounds like work that did not need to be done. Im thinking adding light for maybe 12hours before adding my casing. Just because its getting some light and then kicking it back into darkness may make think it needs to fruit to live ?

so i was going to try this idea and i was just wondering if you put the tray in the incubator for a couple days still or just right into fruiting conditions.

I kinda accidentally late cased and was worried but form the looks of this it might not be bad. Hopefully I get results even a fraction as good as this.

so are you basically saying to let the substrate colonize then add a layer of casing when it starts to pin??

HAVE YOU TRYED THIS WITH PAN CYANS?
I HALF COLONIZED MY CASING AND IT JUST STARTED PINING AFTER THREE DAYS OF FRUTING CONDITONS BUT STILL SMALL CAPS.
WOULD LIKE TO HERE SOMTHING ABOUT THIS THNX.

Hey, really interested in this method. I was just wondering what you use in your substrate and your casing. The pics you posted are beautiful and you gotta be doing some good stuff so i'd like to learn a little more about your technique. Also when you mix the spawn do you put a layer of substrate on top of it like a lot of people seem to do? I'm asking this due to the important light exposure that you were speaking about. And i noticed you put plastic bags in you bins, Is this absolutely necessary? Lastly I've been trying to decide between building something like a martha tek, or using a monotub system like you seem to use. Again those pics are AWESOM so any info you could share would be greatly appreciated, this is my first attempt at a bulk grow, and i would love some first hand knowledge from someone who clearly knows what they are doing.
Thanks a lot!

So my friend what i have to do?i have a mushbag with rye!l'll wait to colonize and then wait to appear pins then i put it in a casing?someone told me that psilocybe mushrooms is not recommended to make a casing for them, cause they dont have nice results!(big yields as you expect). The instructions for this mushbag says that when it's ready you put a layer of vermiculite and then you wait for the mushrooms to grow inside the mushbag! If you can tell me your opinion i'll appreciate it!
