Found some allenii this week and wondering the same. Figure you can use spores or grind up some fresh caps and toss em under some chips outside. I tossed cube culture at the base of a fig tree last year and they popped out on a super hot week this summer. Those are different though and like to be warm I believe. Allensii are awesome.

Psilocybe subaeruginosa
It has been associated with eucalyptus trees in Australia and New Zealand.
Why has it not appeared in California? Eucalyptus are widly and densely distributed in California.

Is anybody growing allenii?
Parts of the local forest is being radically thinned (mostly standing dead trees) for fire protection. Wood chips are everywhere. We are in the habitat zone with very few sightings.
Forget Johnny Appleseed, we need more Johnny Mushroom spores.
