shakedown street
Fortunately for me, my neighbors across the street are very enthusiastic about shrooms (among other things), so it was almost expected and welcomed that I join in the almost nightly fun that they have in their apartment.

On this particular night, I ate four mushrooms... two in the beginning, and then two more maybe an hour or an hour and a half after that. I thought I could "handle" them alright and maintain my cool, relaxed personality... not so!
I found myself most comfortable either sitting and listening to music (grateful dead or phish) with very few or no people around me... OR.... I just sat/stood outside and enjoyed the nature around me... amazing colors and textures bouncing into my eyes and head... I could have stood out there with the trees forever! by the way... ever notice how you just can't wipe that grin off your face? Bothers the shit out of me, but then again it is totally cool at the same time!
ok.... so a lot of people started coming into the apartment, so I left, not feeling very comfortable with my surroundings. I went home, probably took a shower (can't exactly remember).... and made the mistake (or a suprising discovery?) of looking at myself in the mirror... what appeared before me was NOT me.... rather it was this person whose face was in motion... the cheeks drooping/dripping like puddy or syrup or something to that effect. Totally amusing to me... could have stayed there in front of the mirror forever...
so I climb into bed and watch Star Wars.... very fascinating. I didn't follow the story line at all (I mean, it was almost near impossible), but instead looked at the movements and scene shifts with great interest... you should try it sometime if you haven't already!!!
