Well as you can already guess, this was my third time taking mushrooms. The two previous times were okay. I felt a little bit light headed, and laughed for no reason. But both times I ended up falling asleep before the effects wore off. Anyways, I took about a gram after I finished work which was at 7:00pm. My friend picked me up and we started driving around. It was still light outside because it was April, but for some reason the street lights came on early. All of the other lights seemed to be brighter for some reason. I just sat back and me and my friend talked for a bit before deciding to go to Dairy Queen. It was actually pretty warm outside, which is unusal for April. (In Canada anyway) So as we were driving there for whatever reason, I started laughing. My friend asked me what was so funny and I turned and looked at her with a serious face and said, I don't even know why I'm laughing. I felt pretty good though. It had only been 20 minutes since I took the shrooms, but I already was feeling them kick in. By the time we got to Dairy Queen, I was in a laughing fit! I couldn't stop, even when I tried. The parking lot was full, so we had to park in the one across the street. I found walking kind of hard because it felt like I was walking on air, so my friend had to kind of help me walk across the street which was busy. When we got to the other side she realized she had left her lights on. She leaned me against one of the light polls and went back across the street. I just kind of stood there leaning against the poll laughing by myself. The people driving by must have thought I was drunk or something. I don't know how, but I managed to act "normal" when ordering my ice cream. I barley ate any of it though because I was laughing so much back in her van. We drove around for about 2 hours, and I took her that I was seeing a whole new world. The road had all of these lights and lazers going up and down on it. The sky was purple, and I could actually see the air, which is actually really dirty. To me it felt like all of the cars around us were floating in the air instead of driving on the road. When I looked over at my friend, I realized her face was changing. First she turned into some Asian man, and then into what appeared to be Jesus. She said I started calling her Abba and then started speaking latin. Which I find kind of werid because I don't know Latin. Her face then changed into a girl that worked with us named Jessi, and I started talking to her like she was Jessi.
Everything was so surreal to me. It felt like a dream, but I knew it wasn't. I kept laughing and having a good time. The only scary part for me was when we stopped to use the washroom. I stood there over the toliet, and actually forgot what I was suppose to do. And as I was standing there trying to remember how to use the washroom, it felt like I was pissing myself. This totally freaked me out! I looked down, but I was wearing blue jeans so I couldn't tell. My legs felt dry but I was still scared. Eventually I used the washroom and we drove around for another hour. The effects wore off and she dropped me back off at home. I felt normal again. All in all, it was a great trip. I was a little dissapointed that I didn't have a spiritual journey like some people, but I had a good time laughing all night.
