Before I tell you about this trip, it is very important that you understand the following:
This is the story of my friend's trip
I have never done shrooms, nor to I plan to
However, I find mushrooms very interesting and I love to hear about experiences with them, but I don't use any drugs and please honor my request to not try to influence me to do so. (I have had hallucinations before but they were fever induced, and quite horrific.)
That being said, let's get started! I'll be telling the story from the eyes of my friend to avoid confusion. Here we go:
Another boring day, watching telelvision with my younger brother. Just yesterday my older brother thought I should try mushrooms. While I have never used any kind of drug before, (I did accidently take ecstasy thinking it was cold medicine. I was able to vomit most of it out of my system.) I've never used any drug in my life, but things were going pretty rough for me, so I didn't really care what would happen if I did drugs just this once.
I had no prior knowledge of mushrooms, but a friend told me I took about 2 grams. The kind of mushroom was unknown to me, but I didn't care anyway. I went and boiled the shrooms like my brother instructed me to, and consumed them away from my little brother. They tasted like, and I quote, "Ass". I ate them raw and I could barely get them down after already spitting them out once.
Finally, I got them down, and immediately expected some effect. (I had no idea it actually took time to work, I thought it was instant.) So, thinking the shrooms didn't work, I was very dissapointed. A better word for it was "Angry". I felt like I just took something that could kill me and it didn't even do anything.
So, I went back to watch televison with my little brother. For some reason, I couldn't pay attention to the TV program. My thoughts kept slipping. I just shrugged it off, I just felt really distracted.
20 minutes later, for some reason felt like hours later, I felt my first effect, I thought they were useless! Anyway, I saw a dramamtic white flash fill up the room. I felt my pupils dilate so fast, it hurt. I looked to my brother and asked, "Did you see that?" He just gave me a blank stare and asked, and I quote "What the fuck are you talking about?"
I just igonred it, not even thinking it had anything to do with the shrooms. A moment later, I heard something EXTREMELY loud runningup the stairs. My heart started to race, it was a very unnatural sound. The running sound stopped, and my door (supposedly) flew open. Running from the open door came a spastic screaming Kermit the Frog! He jumped around in my face, scaring me to the point where I almost cried.
My brother at this point just gave me an open-mouth blank stare, similar to this: O_O
I fell to the ground, all the sudden extremely sleepy. This is where things got weird. I can't rememebr if my eyes were open, closed, what time it was, or really what time was for that matter. It all seemed like something more than a deepest dream, but in what I thought was reality.
I saw my body lying face down in the carpet from above me, my brother continuing to watch TV as if nothing was happening. All the sudden, I felt a large reduction in my size. I was the size of a grain of salt.
I journeyed through the fibers in the carpet, I felt as though I was really walking, feeling. I explored the enormous land formerly known as my living room. I almost felt happy, but I couldn't really understand my emotions at the moment, or anything for that matter.
I remember leaning up againt one carpet fiber and going to sleep. I don't remember anything from this point on.
The next morning, I woke up exhausted from my first mind-altering experience. I wanted to go back to this odd world hidden in my mind, and I might to mushrooms again sometime. (I would in a heartbeat if they didn't taste so awful.) Maybe I'll dip them in honey or something.
I later thought of why I saw Kermit the Frog, and it occured to me that I ahd watched Muppets in Space 2 weeks earlier. Hehe.
END OF STORY...Back to me.
I found it interesting. No real life changing experience there, positive or negative. I look forward to reading more stories from you guys, and on another note: Please don't screw yourselves up. =D
