We Are Ants

Having been rather experienced with acid, i thought shrooms would be kind of mediocre considering i had taken over 5 hits of acid before, so i just handed over some cash one day towards the 'shroom fund' and waited all week for my fun. finally sunday came(it was valentines day i might add), and we went to joe's house because his parents weren't there. So, there were 4 of us there (me peter joe and apryl) , and i was given about 5 little caps and 4 long stems and i choked em down with some orange juice and some vitamin c candy.. (apryl said that vitamin c enhances your trip)...so we sat down to watch some movies.. first on the list was antz... yeah... ANTZ!! it was pretty cool... and about halfway through i started to trip. The structure of joe's house seemed crooked and i couldn't quite understand why the antz were so cool. I mean we were so much similar, but so different. The movie ended and Apryl started saying that there was a huge praying mantis on the wall.. first of all the entire room shifted in some weird way, then i saw it.. it was looking right at me.. it was so fake.. but so real at the same time.. i probably wouldn't have even noticed except it kept looking right at me... now we couldn't tell what we were seeing was real or not.. but i didn't care... i mean who needs reality?? so i said to put on the next movie.. but apryl wanted to smoke a bowl.. and we did it. for some strange reason the buds tasted sooo good and the smoke.. oh my god, the smoke... it seemed conscious and it would swirl around peoples heads and change colors and turn itself inside out.. we were just all so amazed!!! it was like miracle weed... anyway, we put on the next movie called 'the stoned age' i couldn't watch it long.... it was bugging me really bad so i went into joe's room and kind of laid on his bed and decided to let the shrooms take me where they may. i the room seemed to close in on me so i kind of shrank into the corner of the room (still on the bed) and closed my eyes. i was instantly rewarded with a view like none i have ever seen... i seemed to see ALL of joe's house.. the structure, and everyone watching the movie, and even how the tv worked.. it was really neat... i even saw myself huddled in the corner of joe's room, but it was like i was looking at some other person.. then the harsh realization seemed to come upon me...I HATE THIS PLACE!! I pulled myself up into the clouds, but i wasn't me anymore.. i wasn't anything but my thoughts.. and i saw the whole neighborhood from up high... but still i wanted to get away.. for some reason i was sickened by humanity and their likeness to ants.. always just distracting themselves and digging holes and building shit. so i pulled myself out farther into the stars and i was just filled with wonder.. i couldn't see much, so i looked around and saw a white dot in the vastness in space...it was earth. all of a sudden the whole galaxy spread out before me and earth seemed just like an anthill.. like in the movie. there was a whole universe out there and all anyone seems to care about is whats happening down here... the colors were amazing!! just as i was really getting into it, i heard a voice.. it was apryl saying "shawn are you ok??" because i was in the corner of the room.. and i opened my eyes.. and i was a whole new person. she said the movie was over an hour ago, so i got up, and went into the living room.. everything was so beautiful and peaceful.. the light shining inside the window seemed never ending and i felt as if i was in heaven and that i actually didn't mind being a stupidass ant anymore.. i ended tripping soon after that.. the shrooms only lasted six hours.. i was kind of disappointed they ended so soon... i don't know where that view of the galaxy came from, but i will always remember being able to suck myself out of joe's house....
