The World Inside-Out

I had split a quarter of dried mushrooms with my friend, eating them in a shake with vanilla ice cream and orange juice. It was delicious.

Once they had started to kick in, we decided to all go out in the woods. We were walking along, and everything seemed to have a really glittery glow to it... I swear I could almost see the grass growing beneath our feet. But as we were walking through this great big parking lot, the mushrooms really started to kick in. I felt really afraid that the cars would come out and attack us like monsters. I calmed down, finally passing the parking lot and entering the trail to the woods. But as we went in, the canopy of trees transformed into millions of arms that were reaching for me. Everything in the forest had this psychotic "fun-house" like atmosphere to it, and I totally freaked out. It was like meeting Pennywise from It, by Stephen King, only 1000 times worse.

We went back to our house and I felt really hot... So I went to my room and opened all the windows, letting the cold air in. I layed in bed and suddenly I felt like I was melting. Nothing in our tangible existance existed anymore. The only things that were recognizable to me was pure emotion and music. (I've had this experience before, and I think it's at this stage in the trip where you are able to communicate with beings of different planes. It's funny how when you are tripping, everything in our every day lives becomes so trivial, so meaningless... But anyway..)

I sat there in bed and just listened to some music, and suddenly began to feel afraid because I could no longer tell if I was breathing or not. I couldn't feel my tongue. I put my hand to my chest, but when I did so it felt like my arm was going THROUGH my chest and tickling my back. It wasn't too pleasant. From there I completely freaked out, and didn't want to trip anymore.

I came back to Earth, vowing never to go through that experience again.
