Stuck in time!
I am still not sure if my 1st trip was level 4 or 5, but here it is anyways.
I am still not sure if my 1st trip was level 4 or 5, but here it is anyways...
My friend called me and told me he had gotten a whole ounce of shrooms, and that I should try some. I was very interested in experimenting something new, so I said "Yeah, sure, why not!" We met at a small convenience store, and after the usual chit chat, we decided to head to a little isle that can be accessed from a bridge. Nice quiet place to trip, no cops and no houses nearby.
We layed down near the river, and we started eating the shrooms. I took 3.5 grams (dry) of them. I still have no clue what kind of shroom it was, but it did have blue stains on the stem. My friend took 4 grams, since he had tripped before. So after eating them, we drank some water and smoked a small joint, to avoid nausea before the effects kicks in.
After a while, I started seeing very clear images when my I closed my eyes and soon after they became 3D. So we decided to head for a convenience store to buy drinks before we started tripping too hard. Before we got back on the road, I noticed that trees were so nice to look at
I would look at them, slightly tilting my head... They seemed to pop out, just like when you look at an IMAX movie or something. So we went biking, in search of a convenience store, in the rich neighborhood of the city I live in.
I knew the effect was kickin in when the water fountain was truly surreal. It seemed that I was seeing slowly, and that I could not hear fast enough. It was nice for a while, but after a minute or two, the information overload was becoming very panicking. So we got back on our bikes and headed toward some very nice houses. I started questioning everything. I had no clue if a bench was a bench, if what I was doing was right or wrong, if I was wet, if we were going on a slope. My friend was tripping quite a bit too, he kept saying "Siiicckkk dude!" I thought he was on repeat. So we decided to head back to the convenience store, to get some water before we peaked.
That's when I realised that I wasn't feeling normal. I had no clue what was happening, I had no clue who I was and where I was. My friend kept saying "We gotta get back home!" "We need to drink man, wheres that convenience store you told me about" I just ignored him, and kept biking, enjoying the feeling of humid air on my skin. We got back to the fountain, and I layed down on the bench. I looked at my watch, only to find out that I had no clue what were these numbers saying. So I put Indoglo on, and I looked at my glowing watch for about 20 seconds. It thought I had dived in a pool. After that, I kept questioning my friend about stupid stuff, like if we were sitting on a bench, why he wanted to head back home...
Then I got thirsty. My saliva felt like marbles in my mouth. I thought I was going to die. I had no clue what was happening or where I was, and who was my friend. He had no clue where was the convenience store. So basically we walked alongside our bikes, looking for a way back home. At some point he was about to knock at some rich persons house, to ask directions. I told him that it wasn't the right thing to do, even tho I had no clue what he was doing.
Then we got somewhere, in someone's yard and there was this water hose. He unscrewed it and I finally got my goddamned water! Damn that felt good!
But still I was tripping way too hard to find a way home. So I just followed him, even tho I had no clue why he wanted to head back "home". Eventually, we got back to our neighborhood, and I left him somewhere. I somehow found my house, put my bike in the shed, locked it, got back home, got undressed and I even folded my pants... Then I got to bed. But something wasn't right...
I had no clue what was happening, but I knew something wasn't right. I thought I had finally understood the saying "cogito ergo sum" and for that, I had become insane. I kept "predicting" what I was going to do. For about 30 minutes, I did a 5 minute routine. I would turn around in bed, touch the wall, go drink water, knock my tooth against the faucet and head back to bed. I knew something in my brain wasn't connecting right. I couldn't think straight... Total badtripping...I seriously thought my brain was looping a series of event, that I was stuck in a timelapse! After an hour of anguish, I realised that my clock was still ticking, that time was, after all, flowing in the right direction! I was so happy that I was back to normal!
I don't want to take shrooms ever again, and in a way, I am glad it wasnt quite enjoyable, I'm quite scared of getting addicted...
P.S: Drink lots of water, bring some with you and take a leak before tripping.
