After a few hours of wandering around our faveroute picking spot my friends and I had found basicly nothing, we ventured further and deeper than we had ever gone before. This measure worked well as suddenly we came accross numerous mushrooms obviously missed by many pickers over the course of at least 2 months. These things were huge, one mushroom in particular which everyone agreed was the biggest mushroom we'd ever seen had a top the size of a small plate and a stalk 4 inches easy. We made our way home and all got stuck right into it. A few others rocked up so in total there was 5 of us tripping. My first vivid hullucination (after the perception changes etc) was about 25 minutes into chucking The never ending story on (minus sound as we had our trance pumping). I looked accross at Sam to notice his face seemed green and scaley. He'd become very lizard like and i found it hard to look at him. Then there was the conversation with Benny that ended rapidly after he was 'consumed' by the couch he was sitting in. It just seemed to cover him completely. The whole time this was happening posters seemed to be reaching metres out of walls and the lounge room never took on so many forms in one night. The funniest part of the night was definatly the microwave incodent. I went into the kitchen to check the time on the microwave clock. Who ever had last used the thing had stopped it at 8 seconds and not hit restart so as you do whilst tripping I laughed about it. Then everyone laughed about it and then Benny hit the start button and yelled out "8 seconds to live" whilst running to the bathroom waving his hands about. At this point Harry completely flipped out. He ran straight at the kitchen window and tried to jump through it. Luckly his co-ordination and aim sucked and rather then flying through the window accompanied by shards of glass and fly-wire he just smacked his head on the window frame fell to the ground and left himself a nasty bruise near his eye. I'm glad he didn't hit the glass though because none of us were in any state to take people to hospital.
