Falling into a whole
I have been taking psilicybe semenciata (Liberty cap) shrooms for over 14 years,But was totally suprised when i experienced a phenomena i has only ever had once before- After making an 'earl grey' brew of 400 i dimmed the lights and relaxed with a spliff, after about 15 mins i experienced the usual threshold effects commonly associated with a dose of this ammount (This was around 7.
I have been taking psilicybe semenciata (Liberty cap) shrooms for over 14 years,But was totally suprised when i experienced a phenomena i has only ever had once before-
After making an 'earl grey' brew of 400 i dimmed the lights and relaxed with a spliff, after about 15 mins i experienced the usual threshold effects commonly associated with a dose of this ammount (This was around 7.30 pm) , along with a feeling of 'movement - coming up'
Shortly after, what i describe as the 'organic tapestry effect' seems to encapsulate your vision (Translucent, grid of knots pulsing) , I was suddenly aware of a feeling of something not quite right. IE: although the lights were dim, colour seemed to have been taken from the room - Very monochrome.
The music i was lisisting to had no bass or reverb, just flat and dry. After walking around the room to use the loo i had a feeling of blank, static emptyness . This i started to dwell on becuse as a rule , by this time (8.15) the knot effect is usually becoming more apparent and the spiral of the evening is 'opening out'
I got to the stage where i was thinking that - When people say they gave up mushrooms becuse they said it now bored them, well i thought for some reason that i had blown my trip forever & all further shroom trips would be like this.
Well i looked in the paper and noticed that 'father ted' was on at nine,This was my only marker to something posistive,as time when on i started to think that 'no it can't be like this for the next 6 hours - This is shit i feel straight apart from slightly off balance. No real visuals - just a sort of 'fractured quantel-like effect'
Another observation was that : The BPM rate on the CD i was playing seemed to be unusually fast. In fact audio & visual time had seemed to spped up (TV pictures etc..) this filled me with sn 'annoyence' . Real time had almost stopped, everything felt 'empty and colourless'
The next thing i remember was the TV program - Father ted started. At this point i laughed to myself straight away,I went over to the CD and then.....
I remember looking at the CD display : TRk7 - Transwave : Helium. At this point it was like everything around me - Air,sound light etc... was suddenly charged with colour. It felt like being dropped into somebody's trip - Everything was immensly active. At this point i had no recollection of what had gone on prior to this - It was as if everything had suddenly 'turned on' similar to when you power-up a LCD screen.
I was dumbfounded by this time-pocket,from then on the rest of the trip was excellent........
This time-pocket phenomena i have now had twice (last time over 50 trips past), this i describe as 'Falling into a Whole' If anyone has anything they would like to discuss about this,or any other aspect of shrooms please Email me !
