Tripping Home Alone

5:30: Ate the last of T's mushrooms.
6:01: Definitely feeling some effects...
6:11: Pretty stoned now. Water effects in SL (Second Life) look cool! Think I'll try to play Tringo...
6:16 Can't stay in real time well enough for a game...
6:19: Lots of color effects. And motion everywhere except where I'm directly looking. The world is breathing!
6:25: SL is too much work. I think I'll listen to some music and watch a vis What was the name of that one that T had...
6:37: The visual is trippy, but not as trippy as trying to type with this amazing lounge dance mix song in my head...
6:39: I'm thinking of going to the trouble to set up for recording guitar right now, but don't want to get bogged down in details. Maybe a little later. This trip seems to have that weird acid taste more than the one at BM (Burning Man - where I tripped two weeks ago) did. Maybe Playa dust cures that... Doesn't seem to have any effect on my ability to play guitar, but definitely changes what I want to play like! Man, this lounge stuff is perfect for shrooming! I'm thirsty, think I'll go get some water....
6:53: Returned from the trip downstairs with a guitar, and some TP, but no WATER. LOL!!! Gonna have to go back down there...
7:00: Should be about the peak of the trip right about here...
7:04 Damn, playing acoustic guitar along with this lounge stuff is a blast! Not just the sound, but even more how it feels. The bass notes resonating through the body of the guitar, and the slicing high notes too.

I really ought to be recording right now...

I remember now. It was called "Milk Drop"! Man, I wish that was installed on my computer right now...

7:24: OK, I installed Winamp and Milkdrop. Now I just need to figure out how to make it play!
7:28: Ahhhh! Milkdroppy goodness! This was worth the work to install!
7:30: Currently playing "Love TKO" by "Love Thong". Nice...

You know, I wasn't sure if taking the last shrooms was the right thing to do tonight, but I'm OK with it now. If I want to do this kind of trip again I'll just have to grow some of my own...

7:34: Damn, whoever wrote this Milkdrop thing is a GOD! Wish I had a bigger screen, or a projector.

7:36: I wish there was a giant neon-lit wooden man nearby in time and space right now. That sounds strange, but my peeps know exactly what it means.

7:38: I have a couple of Del Torro movies. Cronos and The Devil's Backbone. Not sure introducing that (horror films) into the trip right now would be a good thing. Maybe later...

7:40: I really should go get my water...

7:46: Found my water, and a beer, and some snack mix left over from BM. Beef jerky too!

I was just reflecting on what a perfect place BM is for experimenting with shrooms. I'm really glad I did my first trip there. You were an excellent shrooming tour guide too. Thanks!

8:31: Damn. There was a 45 minute power failure just now. I can't believe how much of this email got saved. I think I only lost a sentence. Good Outlook! I went out and watched the world from the safety of my yard for a while, and then decided to explore a little further to see if I could locate the source of the power problem. No storm, maybe it was a big gnarly crash or something. I could see police lights reflecting off of the condo canyon walls... I changed into something a little less Playfied and ventured out amongst the muggles... No big crash, and the power failure was pretty localized to my side of the block. It took out traffic lights right out front, and that's why the cops were there. Not much to see there... Move along...

8:36: Not really tripping nearly as hard as an hour ago. Still lots of peripheral vision effects. I turned to look, but it was gone, I cannot put my finger on it now...

It seems like shrooms were really intended for the great outdoors, and the greater the better. It was nice out there. Looking at trees in motion due to the breeze was pleasurable. Lights from cars reflecting off of the fence and walls was nice too! Milkdrop and SL are fun on shrooms too, but I'm really looking forward to finding a nice secluded place up on the Mogollon Rim to hang out on once the crops come in. Kayaking on shrooms would probably be major fun too. Not whitewater, but zipping across a waveless lake under the moon. Any place away from power boats and people. There's a chain of small lakes up on the Mogollon Rim, and one of those that's a little further back on a fire road would be the best. It would be cool to set up the dome beside one of those lakes and stay a while...

8:44: Maybe a little more music. Back into that Milkdrop thingy... I'm going to try a little Iron Maiden this time. "The Wicker Man"!

It's expecting too much to think that this trip could compare to to that amazing Friday night trip before the Man burnt a couple of weeks ago. That was on an entirely different planet.

9:21: Pretty much down from the trip now. Listening to "Wasted Years". Evil heavy metal music! I don't think I've seen anything really repeat in Milkdrop. What a great vis!
