This was my first trip. I'm a 29 year old woman, so I guess I'm a late bloomer. I'm allot more open to new things than I used to be. Who knows, could be my mid-life crises. Anyway, my husband kept telling me how much fun shrooms are, and we are from southeast Georgia, so they are abundent here. I chocolate dipped some of them, which helped a great deal to force them down. The thought of eating something that just came off a pile of cow shit, just didn't appeal to me!
We went to some friends house, where we intended to party with two other couples. None of them wanted to try the shrooms, but they were drinking heavily. I ate 1 large, 2 medium, and one small. About 30 minutes or more and a couple of blunts later I began to notice that I was laughing until I was sobbing! I couldn't breath very well and I kept having to calm myself down! My heart was racing. I couldn't stand to even look at my husband, because he looked wicked, so me and my very drunk friend decided to go outside. First she lit a ball of paper and threw it down. The sparkling lights looked like little people holding tiny torches all walking down the streets of a tiny little town! Very cool. Then we decided to lay on the trampoline and look at the stars. Beside being attacked by mosquitos it was an excellant idea! There was a storm so there were no stars, but the moon was so bright that you could see very well. The trees looked like splashes of ink in the sky. Not really spooky, but warped and strange. One in particular began to take on the shape of a tree being. I began to talk to it and ask for it to protect me. I felt comforted knowing that my tree friend was watching over me. The clouds were making these really wild shapes, like the sky was opening. Then I realized how small we were compared to the world above and around us. I decided we were like 2 caterpillers in a petre dish, and that the trees were studying us. My friend had wrapped up in a blanket to keep the bugs away. I told our other friends, when they came outside, that she was a caterpiller cacooning and that she was going to turn into a beautiful butterfly. Of course she's passed out by now and hasn't got a clue! I laid out there for hours, just looking into the sky. One minute the trees were very close, looming overhead. The next they were a great distance away. My husband came out at about 3 in the morning to get me. I had a terrible time getting down from the trampoline. It looked very high off the ground, but in reality it was only about 3 feet!
When I started coming down I got hot. My skin felt like it was on fire. I was walking around with a wet cloth rubbing my skin all over. Finally a huge summer storm began, and I walked out into the rain, it felt great! I was still very hyper. I felt like I was on speed. I finally fell asleep at about 4:30 in the morning, but was wide awake at 10:00am. After about 4 hours, though, it was all I could do to stay awake! I highly recommend a trip on a trampoline at night. The sky certainly does hold many wonders!
