The Tissue Metaphor

Me and about 25 of my friends were partying one night this summer (1998) at Neil's cabin, and about five of us decided to go on shrooms. The trip was alright, nothing extra. I was disappointed because about 2 hours later I felt like I was coming down. I had to piss really bad so I got a friend of mine (Casey) to bring me up to my house to use the bathroom. I took some extra toilet tissue with me so I could piss in the boons if I felt the need later on. I thought the trip was over until all of a sudden I was boosted right back up, and it was AWESOME! Me and some friends (Kailey, Shelley, Jodi, Sheena, Bonnie, Jamie, and some more people) were sitting by the fire out on the beach, playing wiht the tissue. She took it from me and caught the end of it on fire, and gave it back to me as it burned. As I watched the tissue disintegrate, I felt really deep, like I was a philosopher or something. So I asked everyone if they noticed that the tissue symbolized life; Made in a factory like everyone else, find a home, you get used, and the years of your life burn away pointlessly, leaving nothing behind but a pile of ashes. This was the deepest trip I ever had, and it was cool.
