The Beach Storm

The experience began as my 2 friends and myself traveled to a beautiful beach in cape cod massachusetts in search of the perfect atmosphere to accompany us on our mushroom journey. We sat in the sand and soon proceeded to consume 3.5 g each of the mushrooms madness. The drug began to take effect around a half hour after first consuming the mushrooms. The firt sign of tripping began when I looked down at my sandals. No longer were they simply sitting in the sand, but they were undulating rhythmically with the sound of the waves in the background. The sand began to shift and move in patterns, and I knew I was in for a remarkable journey. As I drifted farther from reality, the visuals I was experiencing increased greatly. As the sun began to set over the ocean a mix of purple and blue crystals appeared in the sky, creating a vision of a kaleidoscope covering the fluorescent sky. A storm was moving in as the sun was going down, which created a genuinely beautiful mixture of colors, which blended together and created surreal images in the sky. I began to see translucent rings and objects forming and slowly moving down towards me from above, obeying the sounds of the ocean's waves in their motions. About 30 minutes into the "trip" my friends and I decided to walk from the beach into town. The walk proved harder than I imagined. The mushrooms had completely taken over my consiousness, launching me into a cycle of pensive thought and deep reflection. I felt truly enlightened and believed I had been exposed to the deepest and darkest secrets of mankind. As we walked into town, colors were extremely vibrant, especially greens. Rather than seeing objects in definitive shapes, I found myself witnessing intense, vibrating flashes of colors. My friends and I frantically pointed out any visuals we were having, and our conversations were intermittent and confused. When we reached the town center, it was difficult for me to refrain from laughing out loud. People were funny to me, and I found it funny that they were so serious and restrained. We walked around and experienced the effects of the drug for several hours before settling down by some benches outside a school. Coming down was quite relaxing and peaceful, and I felt completely at peace as the mushrooms left my body. The expreience was altogether very enjoyable and enlightening.
