teetering

Last night a group of about twenty of my fellow college students and I camped out at the lake, and about five of us ate a handful of Liberty Caps. It took longer than usual for the shrooms to hit but they did hit; hard.



I had that warm stomach feeling and felt that I would sink into the sand. I felt a bad trip starting and fought to pull myself away from it. I was "teetering" between a night of happiness and a night of pain.



When my eyes were open everthing was happy, each star had a face, little things were running up and down the trees that seemed like featurless babies, I was cracking up and happy about it all. However when I blinked I got geometeric patterns of headless snakes wrapped around each other and later saw the people I was with screaming, but my eyes were still closed.



Soon I settled down and the scary shit stopped. everyone had a good trip. My cheeks are still tired from laughing. The best part this time was how slow time went.
