A Report from Jaquai

I have a ritual every year in which I go snowboarding on
thanksgiving day, since I don't celebrate thanksgiving it
gives me a nice diversion and the slopes are not as crowded
as usual. Yes, I go snowboarding on thanksgiving day. I've
been doing it for many years now.

Anyways, this particular day happened to be an especially
good occasion becouse my cakes finally produced some lovely
fruit bodies which I had just dried. I had not eaten shrooms
for about 4 years so I was very eger to expeience them
agian, as I had always had good shroom episodes.

I picked out about 3 smaller PF shrooms and one large
Equador and took them with me. I was going with 2 cousins
and a friend of theirs who I had not met. We left at about
7am and arrived at Loveland ski resort, just west of Denver
along I-70, at about 8am. As we were getting out gear ready
I began chomping down my little guys while nowone was
looking. (My cousins did not know I was using them)

We then headed for the ticket window - purchased our tickets
and streched out while waiting for the lifts to open. I
could tell it was going to be a wonerful day as there was
not a cloud in the sky, not to mention that it was my first
session of the season.

One of my cousins was boarding for the first time so we
descided to take turns helping him learn. The high mountian
air was still pretty crisp as we rode to the top of lift 1.
i didn't mind the cold though. I was just in extacy becouse
it was my first session of the season.

After a couple of runs i started to feel the magic kick in
and it felt great. The first thing I noticed was my thoughts
started to shift and I couldn't get the Chili Peppers album
Californication out of my head - as I'd been listening to it
all week -so I descided to go with the flow and sing. I
continued to sing those songs out loud for the rest of the
day. It was funny to watch peoples reactions to my siging
which sounded and felt great to me. People are so funny
becouse you know everyone knows those songs but everyone is
just to uptight or shy to aknowledge it. Anyways I was
having fun singing and the songs even seemed to help me get
a flow when boarding, especially the song "Porcline"...
