meltdown

i was already in my late twenties when i finally ran into shrooms and bought some from a friend of a friend.i let them sit in my drawer for quite awhile as a was scared to do them after all i had read. i even considered giving them away.it was a freezing cold winter day in the midwest and i finally got up the nerve to gag them down and then took a bath.after a half hour i was feeling nothing and feeling cheated. i bundled up and took a cold walk in the bright sunshine.i heard the elevated train roar by and i followed its sound for blocks and that was when i realized they were kicking in.the next four hours were an amazing sense experience of all types, from staring into album covers that now made total sense to eating a perpetually large ice cream cone.i could not stop smiling and i realized looking into peoples eyes i could see too much. i wish i had worn sun glasses.i came down at a friends place raving about the experience and have only had one trip that was as profound as the first one.
